Justin Rivers, worship leader for Crossland Community Church in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is blowing the minds of the coaches on THE VOICE! After battling against the Morgan Twins, his coach, Blake Shelton, admitted that, to his surprise, Justin was the winner. This decision came as a disappointment to Usher who had hoped to steal the talented singer for his own team.

While the other contestants have had multiple opportunities to win over the hearts of listeners, Justin made his first real appearance last week during his knockout round against the soulful, Savannah Berry. Until this moment, no one has heard the power of his talent or the depths of his heart and dreams. This 29 year old worship leader had begun to wonder if it was time to give up on his dream. Unconvinced that it was, he auditioned for THE VOICE. Now he stands on the lighted stage before the industry’s elite and all of America. Clinging with all his strength to the dream placed inside of him, he tells the world his untold story as he sings THE CLIMB by Miley Cyrus.

Again, much to the coaches’ surprise, Justin knocked it out with a powerhouse ending and has made it to the live event where the people of America will vote for who stays and who goes home.

As fellow believers, lets stand behind our brother in Christ and help him share his passion and gift with the world. He may be unknown to most viewers of THE VOICE, but as you and I know, God works in situations that appear to be against us and can lead us to victory.
