“Avengers: Age of Ultron opens May 1. Movieguide’s Ben Kayser tells us why superheroes are important: “The massive success of recent superhero movies, including the new Marvel epic AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, reflects a part of ourselves that civilization strives towards (or at least should). Internal and external battles of good vs. evil rooted through personal stories of normal people doing extraordinary things is an attractive mythos for humanity to pursue. In fact, there are a plethora of positive values engrained in superhero stories that help condition us into the people we were created and destined to be.”

Out in theaters the first week of May is the amazing movie, “Noble” based on a true story of Christina Noble who rose from the slums of Ireland to rescue one million orphaned street children in Vietnam and Mongolia. This movie is for mature audiences due to the thematic content, gritty realism, and violent depictions.

Consumers are becoming more and more savvy and aware that they can change our culture and the world just through the consumer choices they make. Good movies are and remain in theaters and are distributed into the world for eternal good, when patrons and consumers purchase tickets and thus vote for good redemptive movies with family values. More like what does well at the box office will be made in the future.

So when individuals and families enjoy an entertaining and inspiring movie at their local theaters, they are also influencing the top movie studios to continue to make more of the same. Even when consumers choose to watch redemptive, inspirational, worthwhile television programs, choose such programming on demand, view these kinds of programs in online streaming and then encourage others to do the same in social networks, they can influence the production of programming that is entertaining, enlightening, and educational for the eternal good of our world. Further, consumer can give feedback with simple online feedback tools for ads, ratings for movies and more. Whenever good people make their voices heard, the more they can impact the world for the Greater Eternal Good. Our choices, responses, and voices or lack thereof with media of all kinds make a difference for evil or for good. Fortunately, the Good is Prevailing with active participation of good people.
