The rewards of a successful business and family reality show – fame and fortune – have come to Kay Robertson, “Miss Kay” of the “Duck Dyansty family reality show. However, her journey there has been far from easy.
At age 14, her father passed away suddenly from a massive heart attack and by age 16 she was pregnant with her first child. The first year of marriage with her husband, Phil Robertson, was a struggle financially, but that was nothing compared to the challenges she faced later with him and their growing family.
She’d always dreamed of a story-book life with a husband and children. Early on, her grandmother told her one day she’d have to fight for her marriage. She just didn’t realize how much.
