But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.

Psalms 59:16

When my heart, my mind, my desires and circumstances give way to the circumstances, desires, mind, and heart of my King.

When my spirit exchanges weariness for Strength,

despair for Hope,

fear for Love,

shame for Grace,

guilt for Forgiveness,

mourning for Joy,

doubt for Courage,

Death for Life.

Jesus spoke of worship when He taught the disciples how to pray:

“Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.”

In the stillness of the night When You whisper truths, deep to deep.

In the rush of daily life When You lead and I follow, one step at a time.

When I catch glimpses of Your beauty and power And my whole being is lost in You.

This perfect, eternal, Holy exchange Is worship that satisfies both heaven and earth:

The unity of Creator and created in perfect, eternal harmonies of

Love, Wisdom, and Power.

Therefore God has highly exalted him [Jesus] and bestowed on him the name  that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in  heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus  Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

PHILLIPIANS  2:9-11
