The ‘Ben-Hur’ Movie Soundtrack proudly features For King and Country’s dramatic song ‘Ceasefire.’ Two-time Grammy award winner, For King and Country is a Christian duo made up of brothers, Joel and Luke. These well-known brothers have another unique Christian music tie: their older sister is popular vocalist Rebecca St. James.
‘Ben-Hur’ is the epic tale of Judah Ben-Hur, a prince who is wrongly accused of treason by his adoptive brother. Having been exiled and separated from everyone he loves, Judah falls into slavery and is at sea for many years until he returns home to exact his revenge. Instead, he finds redemption.
The title role of ‘Ben-Hur’ is portrayed by actor Jack Huston (American Hustle and Outlander). This stunning tale of survival and salvation also features such talents as Morgan Freeman and Rodrigo Santoro (300: Rise of an Empire) as Jesus.
“We are so honored that For King & Country have allowed us to use their beautiful song for our film BEN-HUR,” said Executive Producer Roma Downey. “Our country today is filled with so much anger, tension and violence and this song and our film spread a message of forgiveness and reconciliation that is needed now more than ever.”
The music video features never-before-seen footage from the film by Paramount & MGM.
‘Ben-Hur’ will open after great anticipation, on August 19, 2016.
