Are you ready to be inspired? The 2nd Annual Los Angeles ASCEND Conference for Women is coming to California! With featured keynote speakers such as US Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, and international ministry speaker and former Muslim, Isik Abla, it promises to be a life-changing event.
On Saturday, October 11th, 2014, women from across Southern California will gather in Los Angeles to unite and connect with featured speakers and other likeminded women during general sessions, workshops, and resource presentations on the theme of “Forever FREE, What’s the Battle You’re Ready to Win?”
In 2006, Michele Bachmann became the first Republican woman elected to represent Minnesota in the U. S. House of Representatives and in 2011 was listed in TIME Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” and Forbes Magazine’s “World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.”

In Congress, Bachmann is a member of the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the Financial Services Committee and is co-chair of the Adoption and Foster Care Caucuses. Prior to serving in Congress, Bachmann served in the Minnesota State Senate from 2000-2006 and worked on hundreds of civil and criminal cases as a federal tax litigation attorney.
The Bachmann’s have five biological children and have cared for 23 foster children while continuing to fight tirelessly for the rights for those with no voice.
Isik Abla, ordained minister and international ministry speaker, was raised in a Muslim home in Turkey. She was physically abused and sadly escaped from that environment into an even more dangerous situation at the hands of her Muslim husband. At 25, she fled for her life to America.

After years of struggling, Isik entered into intense depression. Isik had a personal encounter with God on the day she was planning her suicide, and then received a supernatural healing from Jesus.
After several years of holding high positions in the secular environment, Isik obeyed God’s call to full time ministry and became an ordained minister and an evangelist. Isik hosts a TV program in five languages that broadcasts to the Middle East and Europe. Her messages are full of love, healing and freedom through Christ.
Other featured keynote speakers and panelists include: Brenda Epperson-Moore, Motivational Speaker and TV actress best-known for her role as Ashley Abbott in the soap opera “The Young and Restless”; Kathleen Cooke, Actress, Blogger, Speaker and Co-Founder of Cooke Pictures; Edwina Findley-Dickerson, TV and screen actress known for her work on the HBO series Treme and The Wire, and staring in the upcoming feature film Get Hard with Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart.

Also joining is LynnMarie Rink, five-time Grammy nominated performing Squeezebox artist and actress in the Off-Broadway production of her own life story, “Wrap Your Heart Around It”; Susan Isaacs, actress, comedian, alumni member of the Groudlings Theater and best-selling author of the book Angry Conversations with God, and Grammy nominated Latin musical artist Priscilla Chessher.
Worship Arts guests include Linda McCrary-Fisher, singer, worship leader, touring artist with gospel great Andrae Crouch, Tommy Walker, Tommy Coomes, and the Billy and Franklin Graham Crusades; Christy Ebenhoch, singer/songwriter, recording artist and worship leader, and Robyn Hanley whose paintings are displayed in the White House and Pentagon Chapel.
