Brian “Head” Welch , an American musician first found fame as the guitarist and co-founder of the band Korn. Best known for a distinctive sound dubbed as “nu metal” Welch made a resounding musical impact in the mid-’90s.
It wasn’t until Brian became a Christian in 2005, that he decided to leave the band, focus on fatherhood and head out on his own with a solo career as a Christian artist. In 2008, Brian released his first Christian album titled “Save Me from Myself” and quickly shot up the Christian Heavy Metal Charts where he was ranked No. 26 of Guitar World’s 100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists of All Time.
Brian has just wrapped up working on his new album, “Between Here and Lost”, due to be released on November 19, 2012, has authored three books and has a rigid speaking schedule.
