Candace Bure and Lori Loughlin for many years have added grace and charm to TV episodes. Both have been Christian role models in the professional acting careers and in their personal lives as wives and mothers. They are both delightful in person and on screen.
On February 25, E News reports that Candace Cameron Bure does her own stunts on Fuller House. “Of all the things viewers notice while…watching Fuller House this weekend, perhaps the one they’ll least expect is this: Candace Cameron Bure (who is totally hilarious while reprising her role as D.J. Tanner) is great at the physical stunts…The show gets surprisingly physical in multiple episodes thanks to both choreographed dances and intense wrestling matches, and Bure did all the stunts herself, regardless of the fact that there was a professional stunt double on hand….”
On February 24, US Weekly reports that Fuller House makes its long-awaited Netflix launch on Friday, February 26, with cast members Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner-Fuller), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler). The series is a reboot of the popular ABC sitcom Full House, which ran for eight seasons. Fuller House, which has landed a 13-episode pickup, focuses on D.J., who is recently widowed and raising three sons. Her sister Stephanie and friend Kimmy move into her San Francisco home to help raise the kids.
The Daily Mail on February 24, quotes Cameron-Bure, who stars as the family’s eldest daughter D.J. Tanner, when she exclaimed the chemistry was real on set and said “If you can’t tell how close we are and how much we love each other, it’s all true and real and I think the show is classic and timeless in the sense that it’s about family, and it’s about love and those stories carry through to any and every generation.”
The Daily Mail explains that the original sitcom followed widower Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) left to raise his three daughters – DJ (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Michelle (played by twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen).
In the spinoff series, the Tanner family’s adventures that began in 1987 on Full House continue as DJ Tanner-Fuller shares a home with her sister Stephanie and friend Kimmy. Cameron Bure says her character who was always responsible and nurturing continues to be that way. The Daily Mail also says that Bob Saget, John Stamos, and Lori Loughlin from Full House also return for the sequel.
Like Candace Bure, Lori Loughlin is also very busy on TV with Hallmark television and more. Lori Loughlin can now also be seen on Sunday evenings on Season Three of When Calls the Heart, as the strong, caring, and nurturing Abigail Stanton. When Calls the Heart on the Hallmark Channel is about a Canadian frontier town Coal Valley that becomes renamed Hope Valley after wives and children who have lost their fathers in a coal mining accident learn to survive and even flourish.
