Watch the ‘God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness’ movie trailer below!
The synopsis to the film is as follows:
In God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness, one church is unexpectedly thrown into an epic legal battle by a state-run university that believes the congregation has outlived its usefulness and needs to go.
This movie follows two highly successful God’s Not Dead films that deal with faith thriving in the face of persecution. In the United States Christians aren’t tormented with the same persecution they cope with in other places around the world. However, it’s undeniable that the pop culture, academia, and political landscape has become increasingly hostile to Christians in the past couple of decades. Either way, the purpose of the God’s Not Dead movies aren’t made to demonize or condemn atheists, but rather to encourage people to stand up for Jesus even when it’s hard. God is alive, and we should honor Him with our actions!
The company behind God’s Not Dead, Pure Flix, has released a number of inspiring films in the past year, including The Case for Christ, A Question of Faith, and Same Kind of Different As Me. We’re excited to see what they have planned for the God’s Not Dead franchise!
Pure Flix presents God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness—featuring David A.R. White, John Corbett, Ted McGinley, Shane Harper, Jennifer Taylor, Benjamin Onyango, with special appearances by Dr. Cissy Houston and Tatum O’Neal. In theaters nationwide March 30, 2018.
