im Bradford is a retired businessman and author of The Awakening of HK Derryberry – the inspiring story of how Jim willingly stepped out of his comfort zone and befriended a young, disabled boy with a dismal future. The book chronicles their 17-year friendship and the discovery of HK’s special gift – the ability to remember everything. Jim has received Rotary’s Four Avenues of Service award and served two terms on Nashville’s Mayor’s Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities. Jim lives in Brentwood, TN with his wife Brenda. Jim and HK now regularly travel the country doing motivational speaking.
