He preached a message on Ecclesiastes 3:1,"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven,"At the end of his sermon, January 21, 1776, John Peter Muhlenburg threw off his clerical robes to reveal the uniform of an officer in the Continental Army.

September 28th – American Minute -Louis Pasteur

He developed vaccines for rabies and anthrax and revolutionized medicine with his germ theory of disease.He laid the foundation for the control of tuberculosis, cholera, diphtheria and tetanus.His name was Louis Pasteur, and he died SEPTEMBER 28, 1895.

September 26th – American Minute -Daniel Boone

Daniel Boone died SEPTEMBER 26, 1820. Boone's creed in matters of morality and religion was as simple and straightforward as his own character.'The religion I have is to love and fear God, believe in Jesus Christ, do all the good to my neighbor, and myself that I can, do as little harm as I can help, and trust on God's mercy for the rest.'
