November 6th – American Minute – Historical Event

The first U.S. Minister to France, Gouverneur Morrishad spoken 173 times during the Constitutional Convention, more than any other delegate. It was Morris who penned the final draft of the Constitution and originated the phrase "We the people of the United States..."

August 31st – American Minute – John Bunyan

Imprisoned twelve years for preaching without permission from the government, he wrote "Pilgrim's Progress," an allegory of a man named Christian fleeing from the City of Destruction and directed by Evangelist to follow the narrow path to the City of Zion. This classic, "Pilgrim's Progress," was written by John Bunyan, who died AUGUST 31, 1688.
