I have a very stylish friend in New York named Connie. She was at a wedding recently and was attracted to a beautiful and unique bracelet worn by a guest. As it turned out the woman wearing the bracelet was the designer herself. Janet Hill Talbert is the Founder and designer of a gorgeous line of Christian-themed jewelry called Jewelry on The Rock.
My friend promptly emailed me to tell me the news about this extraordinary artist.
“On This Rock jewelry is inscribed with scripture or a symbol based on the powerful Word of God to remind the wearer that they are loved, and to give then an opportunity to wear and share their faith,” says Talbert.
Her designs are made of sterling silver, brass, 18 karat gold-plated brass, gems and beach stones. The gold bracelet featured in this photograph is called the Beloved Cuff. It sells for $150.00 and reads

Miss Talbert has a deep faith and shares that the Lord gave her an overwhelming sense that one day she would become a jewelry maker. She went on to study at the Jewelry Arts Institute in New York and trained at the Bianca Lopez Studio and the Fred deVos Was Workshop.
Janet’s Christian-themed jewelry collections centers around cuff bracelets. Some are made in wax first and then cast, some are hand fabricated. All of them are made with love.
