The Entertainment and Fashion Industries have a reputation of being glamorous and influential. Sometimes that influence is not wholesome. As Christian filmmakers are working hard to bring light into the entertainment industry, women who inspire to be role models with glamorous yet wholesome fashion often face a challenge in selecting the appropriate “Red Carpet” dress. At the NEW HOPE World Premiere on Feb 10th, we found several women who inspired us with their wardrobe choices.

Perry Frost, who co-stars as troubled teen Jasmine Stone, looked youthful but elegant in a bright pink above the knee dress which complimented her porcelain skin tone, blue eyes and dark hair. Perry is pictured with her mother, Susan Frost, who choose a flattering dress with sleeves.

I had the privilege of hosting the NEW HOPE red carpet interviews so I also went through the tricky shopping process. Frustrated with the lack of options in a fitted, solid, bright-colored long dress with sleeves , I ended up ordering a Ralph Lauren dress on-line and praying it arrived in time for the premiere. This shopping challenge has inspired me to seek out and support designers who create glamorous yet wholesome evening wear. Look forward to future fashion stories on this topic!
