Red is an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2004. They are known for their Christian rock music which incorporates other sounds such as alternative rock and hard rock. Release the Panic is the fourth full-length studio album by the band Red, that was released on February 5, 2013. The first song released from the album, “Release the Panic,” was released on Friday, November 9, 2012 on their official VEVO channel on YouTube. The song “Hold Me Now” is one of the hit singles that was released in this album.
To date, Red has released four studio albums: End of Silence (2006), Innocence & Instinct (2009), Until We Have Faces(2011), and Release the Panic (2013). The first two albums earned the group Grammy Award Nominations for Best Rock Gospel Album while Until We Have Faces had a No. 2 debut on Billboard 200.
