TobyMac – Lose My Soul

TobyMac was one of the first Christian rappers. He was first known for being a member of the Christian vocal trio dcTalk, staying with them from 1987 until their announced hiatus in 2000. He has since continued a successful solo career with the release of five studio albums, three remixed albums, and a full-length Christmas album.

In his hit single, “Lose My Soul” from the Portable Sounds album, tobyMac collaborated with fellow Christian artists Kirk Franklin and American Idol finalist Mandisa. The “Lose My Soul” music video won Video of the Year and Pop Video of the Year in 2009.
