EchoLight Cinemas Growing in Popularity within the Christian Community
Building off the recent momentum, Rick Santorum, Chairman and CEO of family film studio EchoLight Studios, is working toward fulfilling his vision to premiere authentic, powerful faith-based films inside the local church.
“The excitement for EchoLight Cinemas is growing in the church community,” said Santorum. “We have heard from many of America’s leading pastors and church leaders interested in participating in the program already. Movies have a way of impacting the culture like no other medium; and we want to empower these churches with great faith-based films, to be one of the instruments of change that our culture so desperately needs.”

EchoLight Cinemas partners with churches of all sizes and denominations to allow them to become a venue for world premiere movies of faith and redemption in their church.
EchoLight Cinemas is scheduled to launch with four movies, one per quarter, beginning in September 2104. Churches can begin pre-registering for free to be an EchoLight Cinemas venue today at EchoLight Cinemas.
The premiere film will be One Generation Away, a docudrama that delves into the status of the erosion of America’s religious freedoms. The film includes commentary from advocates including Fox News host Mike Huckabee; New York Times bestselling author Eric Metaxas, Senior Pastor Bishop Harry R. Jackson Jr, Fox News host Todd Starnes, and President of the Religious Liberty Commission Russell Moore, and dozens more of America’s respected business and community leaders.

“One Generation Away will give the church knowledge that will inspire vision, so we can know the appropriate action to take against the attack on our religious freedoms,” said Steve Burger, Senior Pastor of Grace Chapel in Franklin, Tennessee, an EchoLight Cinemas church. “We have to empower the church and give them the tools to protect our most valuable asset, which is the next generation.”
