The prestigious Paramount Pictures release of the newest Ben-Hur Trailer Features For King & Country, the acclaimed, award-winning Christian music duo from Australia. Comprised of two brothers, Joel and Luke, For King & Country won New Artist of the Year at the 2013 GMA Dove Awards, received six other nominations at the awards and in 2012, Billboard named them as New Artists to Watch. Their hit song, “Cease Fire,” is used in the newest trailer of Ben-Hur, a re-adaptation of the 1959 film, by Hollywood power couple, filmmakers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett.
At its time, the 1959 Ben-Hur was the most expensive film made in the 1950s. It was nominated for 12 Academy Awards and became the first film to win 11 Oscars. The re-adaptation is set to release in theaters August 12, 2016.
Ben-Hur is the inspiring story of a Jewish prince betrayed by his own adopted brother and exiled into slavery. Year later, he seeks revenge through a monumental chariot race against his betrayer. The film centers around Ben-Hur’s choice to love, rather than hate, and his journey toward redemption and grace.
Watch how this newest trailer beautifully captures the redemptive nature of the classic story and gives us a glimpse into the most epic faith film to come along in over a decade.
