The day was April 20, 1999 and almost everyone who recognizes that date and the word “Columbine” can tell you where they were when they heard the news. The ‘I’m Not Ashamed’ new movie trailer gives us a view of the horrific events that unfolded that day, changing our great nation forever.

‘I’m Not Ashamed’ shares the true story of hoped based on the life of Rachel Joy Scott, a Christian student at Columbine High School. The story is based on Rachel’s writings and journals.

This heart-wrenching movie shares the story of that fateful day where so many lives were lost and many more were forever changed. On April 20, 1999 two students entered Columbine High School heavily armed. They proceeded to make their way throughout their school opening fire on teachers and students alike. As the horror played out, they encountered Rachel Joy Scott, a Christian teenager. She was confronted with her faith while literally facing death.

‘I’M NOT ASHAMED’ is a Pure Flix film and stars Masey Mclain as Rachey Joy Scott and also features Sadie Robertson (Charity) and her mother Korie Robertson (Aunt Bea) and veteran actress Jennifer O’Neill (Linda).

This important, heartbreaking, and inspiring film hits theatres on October 21, 2016.
