The Hallmark Channel’s TV countdown to Christmas has begun with a slate of new holiday movies through Christmas Day and beyond. There are 19 new movies on the schedule with their sister network, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, presenting seven original holiday movies of their own.
The countdown began October 29 at 8 p.m. and culminates with a When Calls the Heart Christmas movie which premieres on Christmas Day that leads into a new season of the show in 2017. The When Calls the Heart leads, Daniel Lissing, Erin Krakow, and Lori Loughlin, are also in other standalone movies during the Hallmark Christmas Countdown. In A December Bride, Daniel Lissing is a leading man in the holiday romance. Erin Krakow, Lissing’s co-star on When Calls the Heart has her own holiday movie, Finding Father Christmas, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
