Hillsong – Let Hope Rise is a theatrical worship experience, chronicling the Hillsong UNITED’s rise to fame. The film was released in theaters on September 16th, it is coming to DVD and Blue-Ray very soon.
Hillsong is actually a mega-church, based in Australia. Hillsong UNITED is a band that was literally the church’s youth worship team. However, they didn’t end there. Today they tour the world, singing treasured songs such as “Oceans”, “The Stand”, and “Wake”.
The group has touched hearts all over the world, and the film is just another example of how they seek to glorify God in everything they do. Hillsong UNITED has had a tremendous impact of Christian worship all over the globe. Every Sunday, millions sing their songs.
This film is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. It’s a documentary, featuring interviews with the band members, but it’s so much more than that. The film captures the energy on stage, as well as the heart of the band members for God. The official film website considers it a whole new motion-picture genre – the theatrical worship experience.
