When LeMarque (Josh Hartnett) gets lost in a massive winter storm in the back country of the High Sierras while skiing, he is pushed to the limits of human endurance and forced to battle his own personal demons, as well as his struggle for faith, as he fights for survival. Meanwhile, his mom supports a state-wide effort to bring him home.
Directed by Scott Waugh (Act of Valor and Need for Speed), and starring Josh Hartnett (Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbor, 40 Days and 40 Nights) and Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino (Mighty Aphrodite, Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion) and Sarah Dumont (Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse), 6 Below: Miracle on the Mountain will be in theaters October 11th.
6 Below, produced by Dune Entertainment and October Sky Films, is an emotionally powerful movie. However, it is important to be cautious about the content in the film. According to MovieGuide, 6 Below has some vulgarity, as well as partial nudity. On the other side of things, the film also holds to a strong biblical worldview, and promotes praise-worthy themes.
The movie will be in theaters for a one-night event through Fathom Events, the same company bringing Genesis: Paradise Lost to theaters!
