Wings of the Great Eagle | Part 3

1776.

A date with Deity.

An uprooting ordained of God.

The United States was decreed in advance by the LORD for a unique mission. More than two thousand years before its infancy, God’s highly esteemed prophet, Daniel, recorded the vision of the American Revolution in Chapter 7–the Eagle Wings plucked from the Lion’s back. And what’s more, the United States was to be set apart from the four fierce kingdoms prophesied to rule and ruin the earth in the Last Days.

The disciple whom Jesus loved, the Apostle John, describes the same beasts that Daniel saw some 700 years later:

And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear‘s, and its mouth was like a lion‘s mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. (Revelation 13:2).

Notice now, however, that a foul transformation has ensued, and the four beasts are no longer acting independently. They have melded. It is a composite creature of worldwide cruelty. Their sovereignty is swallowed up by globalism. And it is the fallen cherub—the devil, and dragon—that energizes this confederacy against heaven.

But…where are the Wings?

Happily, the Eagle Wings are not affixed to this forthcoming beast system. And we need only look one chapter prior, in Revelation Chapter 12, to see America in action. Here, the Apostle John records a horrible scene of “the Woman” pursued by a psychopathic baby-killer—the dragon.

And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14 But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time. (Revelation 12:13-14)

“The Woman” of this vision refers back to Joseph’s dream in Genesis 37, which symbolizes Israel, who birthed “the male child”—Jesus.

Our enemy, the devil, will–in the not-so-distant future–unleash a hellish attack upon Israel. And thanks be to God! She will not be alone. There will be Wings. And notice that since the time of its founding, the fledgling wings are now described in Revelation as “great.”  She has grown in power and prestige since 1776.

Now can you see why the devil is so intent on tearing our country apart? The enemy senses something sacred. And is now attempting any trick, terror, or tirade to force America to yield her sovereignty…and merge with the monsters

But this Eagle bears no blasphemies.

The United States will not yield. Something will happen…and is happening…to secure her destiny. She will come to the aid of Israel in her hour of greatest need. And that is why we as Christians need to pray…and pray hard…and continually. This is the final hour, and the weapons of our warfare our mighty through God. This is the fight you were born for.

Fight from your knees, America.
