Remember the Christian documentary ‘Genesis: Paradise Lost’ that was released last year? The film explored the science behind biblical creation and gave viewers a glimpse into what the creation of the universe could have looked like.
The film was released in 700 theaters nationwide through Fathom Events (a company that specializes in one-night events), and made a huge impact in the lives of both Christians and non-Christians. Now the director of the film, Ralph Strean, is hoping to raise funds to launch a follow-up creationist series called Quantum. The TV show, hosted by Dr. Charles Johnson (who was interviewed in the film), will provide an educational view of science and history from a biblical perspective.
Our children are being bombarded by a secular brand of scientific interpretation, with speculation and outdated information often presented as fact. At the same time, the church is doing very little to push back and offer its students a Christian perspective on science. Quantum is seeking to solve that problem.
If God made science, shouldn’t science and religion be compatible? Yes!
Check out the trailer above! Ralph Strean and Sevenfold Films are currently raising funds for the new series on GoFundMe. What are your thoughts on this new series? Let us know in the comments below!
