Get ready for a double dose of love, comedy and redemption as Hallmark’s ‘Signed Sealed & Delivered’ the new special television event premieres this weekend along with Episode One, of Season Three of ‘When Calls the Heart.’

Hallmark TV and movies, which provide substantive, heart-felt, inspiring stories are increasing in viewership. On February 19, Business Wire reports on Crown Media Holdings Operating Results for the Fourth Quarter of 2015.

Crown Media Holdings, Inc. is the corporate parent for the portfolio of cable networks and related businesses known as Crown Media Family Networks. This company operates and distributes the Hallmark Channel to 90 million subscribers in the U.S, as well as Hallmark Movies & Mysteries to 64 million subscribers in the U.S, in high definition (HD) and standard definition (SD).

Over the last twelve months, Hallmark Channel has added 5.1 million subscribers and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has added 6.7 million subscribers. “2015 marked another year of significant achievements with the expansion of our subscriber base, strong growth in audience for both channels and double-digit quarterly advertising sales increases” said Bill Abbott, President and CEO of Crown Media Family Networks.

“Forging ahead in 2016, we will continue to focus on being the celebration destination for viewers with events such as Winterfest, Countdown to Valentine’s Day, June Weddings, Fall Harvest, and Thanksgiving Weekend Event.”

This weekend are two highly-anticipated, special Hallmark television events. Sunday, February 21, is the premiere of the movie Signed, Sealed, and Delivered: From the Heart on Hallmark’s Movies and Mysteries. Sunday, February 21, is also the premiere for Season Three of When Calls the Heart on the Hallmark Channel.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered is an American-Canadian dramatic, romantic, comedy television and movie series that will air on the Hallmark Channel.  It is created by Martha Williamson, producer, writer, and speaker  (Touched by an Angel). Signed Sealed & Delivered focuses on four postal workers who track down intended recipients of undeliverable mail. It has first been seen in 2013, when it was aired on Hallmark as a two-hour backdoor pilot movie. It has been a ratings success.

Following the first season, Hallmark announced the series would be re-developed and aired as television films on its Movies & Mysteries channel. It has been an ongoing beautiful series about the following universal human needs:  reconnection, reconciliation, revival of relationships, restoration and much more.

The Hallmark Channel has a long filmography resume with many titles that are excellent family movie choices. Hallmark has aired many favorite holiday movies. Little House on the Prairie (TV Series), The Waltons (TV Series), and When Calls the Heart (TV Series) have been some of their best known and loved television series.

Michael Landon Jr. produces today, as did his father before him (Little House on the Prairie). He produces the inspirational frontier television series for the Hallmark Channel, When Calls the Heart.

Erin Krakow, who plays the lead role of Elizabeth Thatcher in When Calls the Heart, Martin Cummins, who plays the antagonist Henry Gowen in the series, and Pascalle Hutton, who plays feisty, adorable Rosemary LeVeaux have all given exclusive interviews to Sonoma Christian Home in which they have commended this television series about families and relationships in a frontier town where many have lost husbands and fathers in a coal mining disaster but learn to survive– and even flourish.

Brian Bird, co-founder and partner with Michael Landon, Jr. with Believe Pictures, which specializes in life-and-faith-affirming films and TV, has also given several exclusive interviews with Sonoma Christian Home.

Bird’s most recent writing and producing credits include the 2015 Paramount feature films, Captive, The Ultimate Life (2013) for 20th Century Fox, along with the TV film, Beverly Lewis’ The Reckoning for the Hallmark Channel (2015). Further, he has served as executive producer and head writer of the Hallmark original series, When Calls the Heart.

In the exclusive interview with Sonoma Christian Home,  Brian Bird said people “love redemption stories.” He said “we all are hungry for redemption and want resurrection stories because it is innate within us”. Brian said today there is “void which redemptive media can fill.” He said, “…souls are starved and redemptive media producers can feed these souls.” He said “redemptive stories point the way to the ultimate redemption story.”
