Only the Brave is a “drama based on the elite crew of firemen from Prescott, Arizona who battled a wildfire in Yarnell, AZ in June 2013 that claimed the lives of 19 of their members”, according to IMDb.
The movie displays the heroism that humanity looks up to, but only a few dare to put into action. Sonoma Christian Home highlights movies like this because every story of heroism is but a reflection of the ultimate story of redemption: that Jesus, the Son of God, became a man and died for mankind.
Of course, Only the Brave may not be completely family-friendly. Only time will tell. However, once the film is released into theaters, be sure to check websites like Plugged In and the Dove Foundation to see what content is featured.
Only the Brave arrives in theaters October 20th. The movie is distributed by Columbia Pictures, a division of Sony Pictures, and stars Taylor Kitsch, Jennifer Connelly, and Josh Brolin.
