Watch the ‘If You’re Gone‘ family-friendly movie trailer below!
The synopsis for the film is as follows:
When high school senior Brad Lee disappears the night of his graduation ceremony, his girlfriend is forced to question everything she thought she knew about him and their relationship, as well as her own faith, in hopes of finding him.
The movie is based on a novel of the same name, released in 2016 by Brittany Goodwin (who is also directing the film). It’s a beautiful coming-of-age story that explores the topics of young love, loss, and unfailing love. The novel was received well, and was a 2017 Christy Award nominee.
If You’re Gone the movie comes from Every New Day Pictures, the creators of 2013’s Secrets in the Snow. It stars Masey McLain (I’m Not Ashamed, The Baxters), Desiree Ross (Greenleaf), Ben Davies (Courageous, War Room), and Burgess Jenkins (The Young and the Restless).
As of now the release date is not known. However, it looks like Skipstone Pictures is planning on distributing the picture. It’s nice to see more faith-friendly movies being released. Based on the book, it looks like this one will be a movie for the whole family!

I loved this movie and I am grandmother of 7 grandkids. Though its a Teen romance, I felt the message was powerful for teens and adults alike. I highly recommend this movie for your family to watch together. Introduce it to your church student ministry and singles ministry as well. Better yet have a grandparent -teen movie night. Love it!! The quality of the movie was very good and message again was very powerful.
