It’s been a whirlwind of excitement since we launched on October 21st. The team at SCH is working hard to make sure that this magazine is a place where we all can celebrate FOOD, FAITH & FAMILY… A place where Christ is the foundation of everything we do…A place to celebrate everything that He has done for us!
From music to food, to Christian filmmakers to the ballet, we are so excited to see the high caliber of writers and dynamic photographers that have come onboard. I was especially blessed with a special gift this Christmas when SCH was granted press access to the world renown San Francisco Ballet! (For those of you who didn’t know, I spent many years of my life studying ballet in New York).

We got to know a host of celebrity chefs at the Kendall Jackson Heirloom Tomato Festival, including our own local hero, Guy Fieri. We sat with some amazing Food Network Superstars at the first annual FLAVOR NAPA VALLEY event, including Scott Conant, Tyler Florence and Richard Blais! Be on the lookout for some exciting star chef interviews and off the hook recipes!

SCH was inspired as we got to know Christian singer/songwriter Kim Hill in a cover feature in the month of December. Kim has such an amazing voice and big heart for the Lord. It is beautiful to watch God use her for His kingdom.

We are grateful to have witnessed God’s hand of blessing on our efforts and look forward to seeing what He has planned for us in the new year. Keep you eye out for some exciting news and developments, because you know we serve a VERY BIG GOD and His plans for us are nothing short of GREAT!
In 2012 you will be seeing more recipes, more chefs and more amazing videos! We have an exciting line up of interviews with some of the most dynamic Christian artists, writers and musicians! Don’t let a week go by without checking in.
