July 9th – American Minute – World Wide Cholera Outbreak

Cholera, called the disease of the 19th century, spread by drinking unsanitary water. The first truly global disease, cholera killed tens of millions in crowded cities in: England, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Hungary, China, Japan, Java, Korea, the Philippines, India, Bengal, Iran, Iraq, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Arabia, and Africa.

July 5th – American Minute – Iron Sharpens Iron

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both died JULY 4, 1826, exactly 50 years since they passed the Declaration of Independence. "A coincidence...so wonderful gives confidence...that the patriotic efforts of these...men were Heaven directed, and furnishes a new...hope that the prosperity of these States is under the special protection of a kind Providence."

July 4th – American Minute – The Declaration of Independence Approved

"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor." Many of the 56 signers did in fact lose their "Lives" and "Fortunes" during the war, as did thousands of patriots who sacrificed their Prosperity for their Posterity.
