Demian Bichir, nominated for Best Actor delivers a brilliant and heartbreaking performance. This touching story gives an insightful look at the real life struggles of illegal immigrants in America. As a hard working single father, Carlos Galindo (Demian Bichir) strikes a heartbreaking balance of keeping his head down and yet striving for the America dream, to make a better life for his son.
In my opinion, Bichir should have won the Oscar.
