Switchfoot – This Is Home

“This is Home” is a song written and recorded by the alternative rock band Switchfoot, and is featured on the soundtrack for the 2008 film The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. The song was featured during the end credits of the film. It was the 17th most-played song on U.S. Contemporary Christian music radio stations for 2008 according to R&R magazine’s Christian CHR chart.

Fun fact about the band: According to Jon Foreman, the name “Switchfoot” is a surfing term.  Foreman states, “We all love to surf and have been surfing all our lives so to us, the name made sense. To switch your feet means to take a new stance facing the opposite direction. It’s about change and movement, a different way of approaching life and music.”
