Brand new in music news is Mary Mary’s new video inspired by ‘Ben-Hur’. The song ‘Back to You’ is the first release by the duo after a four-year break. Popular gospel duo Mary Mary is comprised of sisters Erica Campbell and Tina Campbell who also co-star on their hit show for WEtv, ‘Mary Mary’. The show is just over four years old and chronicles the lives of Erica, Tina, their families, and careers. The show also airs in Asia and Europe.
The sisters joined musical talents after a hiatus to create the song and video ‘Back to You’ for the upcoming epic film ‘Ben-Hur’ produced by another talented duo of Mark Burnett and Roma Downey. ‘Ben-Hur’ tells the fictional tale of Judah Ben-Hur, a Jewish prince. After being falsely accused of treason by his adopted brother, Judah is sold into slavery where he spends the next several years at sea, separated from everyone he knows and loves. Once free, Judah returns to his home to carry out his revenge. Instead, he finds redemption.
Jack Huston of American Hustle fame stars in the title role of Judah Ben-Hur. He shares the screen with Nazanin Boniadi (Homeland), and Rodrigo Santoro (The 33). This dramatic and inspiring tale also co-stars veteran actor Morgan Freeman. The show opens in theatres August 19.
