Christian comedy ‘Heaven Bound’ is new on DVD this week!

Ted Hoover (Michael Joiner) and his wife, Josie (Nancy Stafford), feel like they’re on top of the world. Ted has a high position at a gluten-free dog food company, and he and Josie spend their money without reserve in order to live the life they feel like they deserved. But one day, everything changes. Ted Hoover makes a terrible mistake that suddenly makes him jobless, a national villain, and an internet joke. For the first time in years, the Hoovers have a money problem.

Dreaming up all their possibilities, they finally decide on a plan to steal jewelry from the town millionaire: Dr. Drake. Josie’s quirky brother, Moochie (Torry Martin), begs to get involved, so the three set off to swindle their fortune. Little do they know that Dr. Drake has been praying to God for another chance to share the love of Christ with someone. When he catches the three burglars in his home, due to his state-of-the-art surveillance system, he believes his prayers have been answered.
Without doubt that these three are going to accept Jesus as their Savior, Drake traps the trio in his home and begins his quest to transform their souls. However, Ted, Josie, and Moochie are terrified of the doctor, and the creepy house they unfortunately chose to rob! After all these events occur, the three unlikely robbers are confronted with a choice: will they go insane from the house and its owner, or will they let themselves be drawn closer to the God they’d forgotten about?
