The National Day of Prayer is here again, and will take place on May 4th! This time, the theme is going to be called For Your Great Name’s Sake! Hear Us …Forgive Us …Heal Us! It is inspired by Daniel 9:19. The 2017 National Day of Prayer is quickly approaching, and thousands of individuals, churches, and communities are working to rally millions of Christian’s to once again participate in this national call to prayer.

O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive. O Lord, pay attention and act. Delay not, for your own sake, O my God, because your city and your people are called by your name.”

Daniel 9:19

Unlike most years, this year the National Day of Prayer main event in Washington DC will be moving to an evening time! From 7:30 to 9 pm ET, you can tune into the live stream on the National Day of Prayer website, as our Chairperson, Anne Graham Lotz, leads the nation in unified prayer for the United States of America.

It’s truly a beautiful thing to be part of the National Day of Prayer. With hundreds of thousands of faithful Christians crying out to God at the same time, something amazing is bound to happen!

Also, NRB is going to be hosting its fourth annual First Amendment Lunch. That will also take place in  Washington, D.C. It will also be on Thursday, May 4 – the National Day of Prayer.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Charles F. Stanley, Founder & President of In Touch Ministries and Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Atlanta.

National Day of Prayer leaders Vonette Bright, Shirley Dobson, Dr. Tony Evans, Dr. Jack Graham, and Anne Graham Lotz have been featured in previous years, along with keynote speakers Senator Ted Cruz, Dr. James Dobson, Dr. Robert George, and Senator Rand Paul.

At this time, we ask you refrain from purchasing on the Sonoma Christian Home store. We are in the process of performing updates and in the meantime we would ask you hold off on new orders. We will make an announcement once our store is back in action! Dismiss
