In this day and age, people consider it offensive to say Jesus is the only way to be saved. Jesus – the embodiment of LOVE itself – is discredited due to His exclusivity! How can this be?
This is the logic of critics: They say that believing in Jesus as the only way to Heaven is closed-minded and intolerant. They say it’s prideful to believe we know the truth and everyone else is wrong.
This is the response by Greg Laurie: “I do see the whole picture. I don’t say that with any arrogance. I see the whole picture. It’s plainly, it’s simply declared to me in the pages of the Bible. And if the Bible isn’t a blueprint to follow, what is it?… I don’t say that because I’m better than anyone else. I’m not better than any person anywhere. But I am better off. I’m just one beggar telling another beggar where to find some bread. And the only reason I say Jesus is the only way to the Father is that He himself said it.”
Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’
