The following commendation for Trump’s recent abortion defunding is submitted by Day Gardner, President of the National Black Pro-Life Union:
On April 4, 2016, the National Black Pro-Life Union made a stand as the very first pro-life organization to endorse Donald J. Trump for President of the United States.
Though the media, the Democrats and even GOP elite bashed Trump, I thank GOD that He allowed me to see through all the smoke and mirrors, that candidate Trump, though not perfect, was and is a good man — and President Trump would be good and perhaps even great for America.
Here’s the bottom line, President Trump loves America and all of her citizens. He understands that most Americans believe and trust that every life is precious.
While the media and the left search for cracks in his shining armor, President Trump continues to be a powerful voice for each and every one of us.
American tax payers don’t want to and should not be forced to give their hard-earned dollars to Planned Parenthood or any organization that brutally kills unborn children and causes emotional and many times physical scars to their mothers.
I applaud President Trump for having the mortal fortitude to do the right thing.

President Trump’s character is of questionable virtue, but actions don’t lie. The Trump Administration has made every effort to reverse the moral decay evident under the leadership of previous presidents. Meanwhile, I sense a resurgence of youth ready to fight against abortion and give a voice to the voiceless! For example, the Human Life Initiative was launched recently – a pro-life online publication with millennial writers.
