A student boldly stands up for God when a Presidential candidate visits his school. The exchange goes viral challenging both to step out in faith and be the men that God has called them to be.
Some may draw parallels between this film and God’s Not Dead. Both movies are centered around Christians defending the faith of others. However, in this movie Kevin Sorbo plays a high school teacher who encourages one of his students to stand up for what he believes in.
Many critics have mistakenly twisted the message of the God’s Not Dead movies into a “persecution complex.” Sadly, they miss the point altogether. The films are about standing up for what you believe in, even when it’s unpopular. They’re about refusing to conform to societal pressures and instead standing firm on the Word of God, unashamed.
It’s still unclear what direction One Nation Under God will take, but it looks like a quality faith-based movie!
The movie stars Kevin Sorbo (God’s Not Dead), Antonio Sabato Jr., Isaak Presley (Disney’s Stuck in the Middle), and Emily Hahn (Beautifully Broken). It’s produced by Check the Gate Productions, among others.
