September 26th – American Minute -Daniel Boone

Daniel Boone died SEPTEMBER 26, 1820. Boone's creed in matters of morality and religion was as simple and straightforward as his own character.'The religion I have is to love and fear God, believe in Jesus Christ, do all the good to my neighbor, and myself that I can, do as little harm as I can help, and trust on God's mercy for the rest.'

September 20th – American Minute – Fisher Ames

He helped ratify the U.S. Constitution and was a Congressman from Massachusetts. On August 20, 1789, he proposed as the wording of the First Amendment (Annals of Congress, 1:766):“Congress shall make no law establishing religion, or to prevent the free exercise thereof, or to infringe the rights of conscience.”His name was Fisher Ames.
