Sonoma Christian Home would like to introduce you to Donna Pochaski-Thomas, a new contributor in our House and Garden Department. Donna has a passion for repainting antique furniture with Shabby Chic style using classic color hues and a variety of beautiful fabrics. We hope you will enjoy her work as much as we do.
With the start of the new year, I decided to do some new and different styles with my furniture painting, and voila! I introduce to you my french grey and white distressed pieces. I have done a special technique with an older paint finish/style that makes them look like an old world, super shabby chic finish that you would find on real antique painted pieces from France with a finish that has aged as gracefully as the piece of furniture itself.
I have sold many of these rather quickly and one of the best things is that grey and white matches everything!! They are both neutral colors. Here are some of my creations- I hope you love them as much as I do!

Love the chenille furniture covers. My great grandma used to have a chenille bedspread. To have one on a piece of furniture would be like a hug from her. I have to get out to your shop!!!
