My heart is spoiled and my breath consumed when the beauty of earth gives a glimmer of understanding to the beauty of You.

You are My witnesses, says the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen,
that you may know Me, believe Me and remain steadfast to Me, and understand that
I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me. I,
even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior.

ISAIAH 43:10-11 AMP

In the depths of despair, You are the living river.
A drink, deep to deep.

You are my hiding place, my comfort, my hope.
You show me how bright Light is in the middle of the night;
how powerful Life is in the midst of death;
how freedom is found in a heavenly yoke.

You are the One who creates my hunger, and the One who satisfies.
The One who strips away, and the One who rebuilds, perfectly.

You are He who exposes the Father; who exposes my heart;
who joins the two together regardless of time and space and loss.

The One who makes Love a person and this Person my Friend.

You tell me, “Be strong and courageous! Don’t be afraid!”

When fear breathes fire in my face, You hold my hand and smile, confident in Your power, wisdom, and love that overcame.

That will overcome in me.

You are the One who nudges me – in the middle of the night, in the routine of the day, in the words of others –
“Keep going. Don’t quit. This is for My glory. For My glory in you. For My glory in them.”

You turn dark shadows into canopies of hope and dry grass into gold.
My heart is spoiled and my breath consumed when the beauty of earth
gives a glimmer of understanding to the beauty of You.

You are the One who transforms average into amazing and offers heaven to earth.
Who puts details in order to bring what is out of time into time for purposes beyond time.

The grand and glitzy
appear clumsy and worthless
in the light of Your purity.

You cause my heart
to yearn for truth.
To yearn for You.

You are the One.
The One who has always been.
The One who will remain.

And You allow us to witness.
