I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.
3 My enemies turn back;
they stumble and perish before you.
4 For you have upheld my right and my cause,
sitting enthroned as the righteous judge.
5 You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked;
you have blotted out their name for ever and ever.
6 Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies,
you have uprooted their cities;
even the memory of them has perished.
7 The Lord reigns forever;
he has established his throne for judgment.
8 He rules the world in righteousness
and judges the peoples with equity.
9 The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble.
10 Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.
11 Sing the praises of the Lord, enthroned in Zion;
proclaim among the nations what he has done.

15 The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug;

the hope of the afflicted will never perish.

let the nations be judged in your presence.

Key Verse: “I will praise You, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders.” Psalm 9:1
The heart and the mouth are connected. When you read what David wrote in this psalm, does it resonate with your life? What is holding you back from praising God with all of your heart? 1) Self-centered: It is difficult to fully worship God if you are too wrapped up in yourself. 2) Hidden Sin: Turn to the Lord for cleansing and a new start. 3) Pride: If you prefer to attempt to be self-sufficient, your worship will be minimal. A healthy heart is a heart filled with praise.
When your heart is full of praise, your words will match it. Out of the abundance in the heart, your speech overflows. Overcome common hurdles. 1) Fear: You will not say what you know is true because you are more concerned that people will reject you. 2) Lies: Do not be convinced that your testimony is boring, your words have no influence, or God doesn’t care if you remain silent. None of these are true. Your heart and your mouth are made for God and His purposes! Stay bold for Jesus!
