Watch the trailer for the inspirational movie ‘The Miracle Season‘ below!

The Miracle Season is a new movie based on the inspirational story of a high school girls volleyball team that falls from glory after their star player unexpectedly dies. Under the guidance of their coach, played by Helen Hunt (Soul Surfer), the team learns to dream again and fight their way to the state championship! The true story behind the movie apparently went largely under the radar before this year, when the film was released and the book was published. It is a classic story of tragic loss, hope, and victory. It’s also a great film to watch if you enjoy watching or playing volleyball!

The movie is directed by Sean McNamara, who directed the hit film Soul Surfer (the true story of surfer Bethany Hamilton) back in 2011 and the basketball drama Hoovey in 2015.

The Miracle Season is an inspirational film for the whole family! Unfortunately, God’s name is misused a few times, but that is as far as the film goes. You can visit the Plugged In page for more information on the content (whether or not it is appropriate for children to watch). Overall, it’s a great family movie. Additionally, it is doing well at the box office. It made almost $4 million over its opening weekend. On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie has a decent 41% critic score and an 89% audience score.
