Watch the trailer for Tim Tebow’s faith-based movie Run The Race below!
The synopsis of the film is as follows:
Against the backdrop of high school football and track, two brothers in a small Southern town face escalating problems with two different world views, straining – but ultimately strengthening – the bonds of brotherhood.
The release date of Run The Race is February 22nd, 2019. The faith-based football movie was recently picked up by distributor Roadside Attractions, who recently had success with the hit I Can Only Imagine (directed by the Erwin Brothers). Tim Tebow’s dive into Hollywood as producer is similar to basketball star Stephen Curry’s decision to begin producing Christian feature films. In April, it was announced by Variety that Curry had entered into a multi-year agreement to produce faith-based movies. Then two days ago The Hollywood Reporter announced Breakthrough, co-produced with Devon Franklin, would be his first film.
Tim Tebow has been an extremist for love ever since he left the NFL. Movies are just one more way with which he plans to positively impact culture!
Run The Race stars Mykelti Williamson (Forest Gump), Frances Fisher (Titanic), and Tanner Stine, among other talents such as Caleb Castille. What do you think about the trailer? Are you excited about seeing the movie when it comes to theaters in February? Write your thoughts in the comments below!
