The Bible explains creation, degeneration, and the regeneration. Creation is the original generation of life. Degeneration is the Fall of man, which made us spiritually dead. Regeneration is when people become spiritually alive. When Jesus taught about regeneration, He declared,
“I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again” (John 3:3).
Because of our sinful nature and our individual sins, we are spiritually dead and separated from God.
Jesus has the power to give spiritual and eternal life to all those who believe in Him and follow Him. The Gospel declares,
“For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:21-22).
As an electric light bulb becomes full of light and useful when it is connected with electrical power, you will become full of life when you put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior. You will start fulfilling the purpose for which you were created.
