Based on the best-selling book by Martha Raddatz, The Long Road Home documents the circumstances of April 4, 2004. In Sadr City, Baghdad, an Army platoon was ambushed. This attack became known as “Black Sunday.” This incredible new series debuts on the National Geographic channel on November 7th.
This series stars Michael Kelly (House of Cards), Jason Ritter (Kevin (Probably) Saves the World), Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead), Josh Vinyard (The Magnificent Seven), Kate Bosworth (Superman Returns), Joshua Brennan (Home and Away), and many, many more.
The Long Road Home is appropriate for older teens through adults as there is partial nudity and graphic violence. It does, however, have redemptive qualities and presents prayer and faith positively throughout the film. Don’t miss this action-packed series about an important event and check the Nat Geo site for updates and programming times and channels.
