Tragedy strikes in a community forcing three families to cross paths in a way they never imagined. On September 29th, A Question of Faith rolls into theatres. The film stars Richard T. Jones (Judging Amy) and Kim Fields (The Facts of Life), C. Thomas Howell (The Outsiders), T. C. Stallings (War Room), and Dove Award-winning singer Jaci Velasquez.
David Newman (Jones) is a loving husband, father, and pastor on track to “inherit” his father’s church. But while working hard to do so, he manages to overlook promises he’s made to his young son Eric. Kate Hernandez (Velasquez), a single mom and devoted Christian, owns a local diner. Her hard work and devotion are paying off as her daughter Maria (Karen Valero) prepares to be the first in her family to attend college. C. Thomas Howell portrays John, the owner of a struggling construction company, who hopes his daughter’s singing career will be the answer to his financial problems.
Life-changing events happen with each parent’s child that sets off a chain of events and unbelievable consequences, causing their paths to become intertwined when each family finds themselves at a crossroads. While the families struggle with decisions and circumstances, the also struggle with their faith and end up questioning what they believe and why.
